Willunga

The driveway curves slightly to reveal a lovely green park-like garden.  Huge trees dotted amoungst flowering shrubs and sweeping lawns provide the frame to a beautiful picture.  The house, an old queenslander, is set slightly on a rise, and one can catch an occasional glimpse of the open plains of the Darling Downs as we stroll through the gardens together.  Everything is so lovely, and restful, but it’s the people who live here who make this place so beautiful and we are glad to be with our close friends again. 

We visited this family a few weeks ago when the magnolias were flowering and spring had just arrived, and one morning Eliza and I spent time just happily wandering around, stopping here and there to smell the flowers or take a picture.  We loved our days together….and we take home the memories of a special weekend.  

So many pictures of Eliza but she was the perfect little model and so gorgeous!!!
