Happy Birthday WH!

Comments

I had to write this Cindy, the photo with it’s memories old (shearing times past) and new (listening to, and watching Wayne play).
I haven’t written stuff like this for years. Your photography is so inspiring. Stirring up all those “funny, familiar, forgotten feelings.” I’ll try to resist the urge after this or people will be avoiding your site!

The hands that spread the ragged fleece,
And weild the cutters fine,
Have gifted melodies of grace.
And blessings in each line.

My heart remembers sights and sounds,
And wool smells on the air.
Striking chords in unison
With memories wakened there.

The shearer’s hands are gentle now,
Lightly touching every key,
Music in harmony with peace,
Folds us in kindly reverie.

Wow Kath, that’s so beautiful. Thanks for taking such an interest in my photography….love to see your comments!
