It is incredible the difference light makes…..this is the same bunch of lavender as the photo below and photographed on the same day but in different lighting situations…..neither image has been photoshopped!
The white jug has no self adornment.
It has been through the kiln.
More than once,
And has emerged a simple, useful vessel.
It has an idea of it’s worth but,
Instead of demanding attention for itself,
It has let the focus be on the beauty it contains.
The delight of this photo
And the thought evoking interlude it gave me tonight
When I had a sick relative weighing on my mind,
Has encouraged me.
