Anzac Day

Lest we forget
the brave  who fought for our country
and freedom….

“They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Rosemary for rememberance. Upright, bent, strong, broken, there, scattered, you, me. Yes, we will remember them, always.

I also intended to comment on the poignant statement your ‘simple’ photo gives us Cindy. I see it as a clear vision of who and what we are remembering, emerging out of the mists of time. Your sprig of Rosemary is symbolic to me of the “Lone Pine”, Plateau 400, at Galipoli. It’s a beautiful photo.

I love your interpretation Kath….thanks!
